Capoeira For Youth Winter Spring Series: Ages 6-12

Watch your child’s confidence grow while learning the Brazilian martial art form of Capoeira. In this creative and fun class, children learn the movements of Capoeira through exercises and games that help improve flexibility, agility, reflexes, balance, concentration and gross motor coordination. Students learn to work individually as well as in pairs and groups. Children also learn about the essential music and instruments of Capoeira by clapping, singing, and learning how to play and recognize the sounds of the Pandeiro, A-go-go, Atabaque and Berimbau.
