Benin To Brazil

Join Etienne Cakpo and Daniel Santos for their signature Benin to Brazil workshop with very special guest Rosangela Silvestre. Etienne, Daniel and Rosangela will lead you on a journey from the shores of Benin to the bay of Bahia, Brazil, integrating and weaving movement, rhythm, song and symbology unique to their cultural traditions. Rosangela is a world-renowned choreographer, dancer, composer and Afro-Brazilian dance visionary. Rosangela will be joining our Seattle community for an artist residency October 13-15th.

Live drumming will accompany class. Donations for drummers are welcome.
